At Hacienda Del Rey we provide three levels of assisted support; supervisory care, personal care and directed care. Below you will find a small description of each.  If you are not sure which level of care is appropriate, please allow us to take worry out of the equation.   Before we establish a move in date or ask you to deposit, we will take the time to schedule an appointment with you to perform a care assessment of you or your loved one.  This assessment will eliminate any question as to what level of support is needed.   Performed by our Licensed Nurse or Director,  this assessment is truly valuable and a necessary step in getting to know our potential new family.  Additionally, this ensures that our staff will have up-to-date information to be well equipped to address care needs and promote a successful transition.

- SUPERVISORY CARE - This level of care Includes general supervision, including daily awareness of resident functioning and continuing needs, the ability to intervene in a crisis and assistance in the self-administration of prescribed medications.  Generally speaking, residents at this level are fairly self-sufficient, requiring only supervision with medications, meals provided, housekeeping, laundry and stand-by support with bathing.

 - PERSONAL CARE - For those who would benefit from or require help in areas of daily activity's such as getting dressed, and bathing, our personal care level provides assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs).  These activities may include but are not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, administration of prescribed medications, meals and housekeeping.  Our staff receives on-going training to address the individual needs of our residents.

 - DIRECTED CARE- Provides special programs and services in addition to personal care services, to Residents who are incapable of recognizing danger, summoning assistance, expressing need or making basic care decisions.  This level of care is more commonly known as Memory Care.  If you feel you or your loved one may be suffering from the effects of Dementia or Alzheimer's disease, we would like to offer to you, our knowledge and expertise as a resource, whenever you need it.  Our tenured staff is here to assist you in determining what next steps should be considered and lend a caring hand in starting the process.
